These terms cover your use of happygrieving.org and grieftrips.com. Both sites are run by Happy Grieving Limited, a company registered in Hong Kong, Business Registration Number 77994515.
What these sites are
A place to read about grief, to find our community, and to find out about our trips and programmes.
What they are not
This is not therapy, counselling, or medical advice. Nothing on these sites is a substitute for care from a doctor, a therapist, or a crisis service. Our trips are facilitated by people with lived experience and relevant training, and they are not clinical treatment.
If you are in crisis, please contact a crisis service or emergency number in your country now. Our contact addresses are not monitored around the clock and we cannot provide emergency support. The crisis resources we keep are here.
Booking a trip
Booking is governed by our booking terms and conditions, not by this page. Prices, dates and availability shown on the site can change. The price that applies to you is the one we confirm to you in writing.
Your messages to us
If you send us something through a form, an email or a message, you confirm it is yours to send and that it is accurate as far as you know.
Please do not post or send anything about another person who has not agreed to it, including a photograph of them or details about their death, beyond what you need to tell us about your own grief.
Our content
The words, photographs, designs and marks on these sites belong to Happy Grieving Limited or to the people we license them from. You are welcome to share a link or quote a short passage with credit. Please do not republish our articles, images or brand marks as your own or for commercial use without asking.
Community members' words that appear on our sites are published with that person's permission and remain theirs.
Other people's sites
We link to other organisations, including grief and crisis services. We do not control them and we are not responsible for what they do with your information.
Our responsibility to you
We take real care over what we publish, and we cannot promise it is complete, current, or right for your situation. Grief is not the same twice.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of the sites themselves. Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Our responsibilities to you as a traveller on a trip are set out in the booking terms, and this page does not reduce them.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top tells you when we last did.

These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong.
